Avril Lavigne New Single For Alice in Wonderland: Alice (video)

Alice, the new single from Avril Lavigne, and one of the main tracks for the Alice in Wonderland soundtrack has hit the internet (see video)

Avril Lavigne's single Alice will be the first single from her fourth album, a song which she worked on with her ex-husband Deryck Whibley from Sum 41.

OK Magazine describes how the Avril Lavigne and Alice in Wonderland project came about

"Avril was working with the Disney offices on a exclusive clothing collection, from her line Abbey Dawn at Khol’s, geared toward the film.

She said she happened to run into Tim and told him she was recording, and he asked her to write something up.

'I wrote the song immediately because I was so inspired because I was designing for the movie so I had the image in my mind,” she said. “I played the song for Tim, and he loved it. It was all because I was designing the clothing.'"

Combine with her new album, a spot on American Idol and the Alice In Wonderland track Alice, it seems 2010 will be a big year for Canadian and now international pop super star Avril Lavigne.
